Tabor City resident Christian Lawrence Alto, 25, was arrested late Tuesday night after deputies served a series of outstanding warrants for multiple Failure to Appear on Misdemeanor charges, according to the Columbus County Detention Center’s June 18–19 booking report.

Alto, of 31 Forest Lane, was taken into custody at 10:25 p.m. on June 18. The report lists seven separate FTA charges, all under Columbus County jurisdiction. The primary charge carried a $6,000 secured bond, while the remaining six were listed as “$0.00 / Included in Oth.”

The detention log shows Alto was booked and released the same day, indicating he posted bond shortly after processing.

Failure to Appear charges in North Carolina are issued when a defendant misses a scheduled court date on an underlying misdemeanor case. These warrants often accumulate when multiple cases are pending simultaneously.

All individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
