Family-friendly patriotic celebration scheduled for July 1 in Columbus County

The Town of Brunswick, situated in Columbus County, North Carolina, is preparing to host a 4th of July Extravaganza, and rolling out the welcome mat by inviting the locals and visitors to a community gathering. A day of patriotic celebration and family-friendly entertainment. The event is scheduled to take place on July 1, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Columbus County Fairgrounds, located at 886 Prison Camp Road.

This year’s event promises a wide array of activities designed to appeal to all ages, including more than 20 vendors offering food and shopping. Additional entertainment includes a foam party, a petting zoo, a live band, bounce houses, and a rock wall, with the evening set to conclude with extravagant fireworks show.

This event serves as an opportunity for the community to come together in the spirit of celebrating America.
