FDA RECALL: Target Up & Up Baby Wipes; Possible Bacterial Contamination

FDA says wipes may contain Burkholderia bacteria; sold nationwide and online.

FDA RECALL:  Target has recalled several Up & Up baby wipe products after customer complaints and FDA testing found Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioli, bacteria that can cause serious infections in infants, young children, and immunocompromised individuals.Photograph of Package Fragrance Free Baby Wipes (72 Wipes)

The wipes were manufactured by Sapro Temizlik Urunleri and sold in stores nationwide and on Target.com. Reports of discoloration, irritation, and possible infections are under investigation.

Fragrance Free Baby Wipes 20, 72, 216, 800, 1200 count Manufactured: Nov. 7, 2025, → May 5, 2026, Expires: May 10, 2028, → Nov. 5, 2028

Fresh Cucumber Scented Baby Wipes 72, 216, 800 counts Manufactured: Dec. 29–30, 2025 Expires: June 29–30, 2028
