The Downtown Juvenile Curfew begins each night at 9:00 p.m. and continues until 6:00 a.m. the following morning. This earlier curfew applies specifically to the city’s designated downtown district and to city‑owned properties within that zone.
A second restriction, the Citywide Juvenile Curfew, applies throughout Myrtle Beach from midnight to 6:00 a.m. daily. This broader curfew covers all areas outside the downtown district, including all city‑owned properties across the municipality.
Both curfews apply to unaccompanied minors ages 17 and younger. According to the city, juveniles may remain in the downtown curfew area after 9 p.m. only if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
