Summer Meals Available for Brunswick County Children

Free Breakfast, lunch, and weekly meal boxes offered at multiple school sites across the county June 1 through August 14.

Brunswick County, NC — Families will again have access to free summer meals for children 18 years old and under, with service running from June 1 through August 14 at schools across the district. The program, operated by Brunswick County Schools through the USDA Summer Food Service Program, provides no‑cost breakfast and lunch on site, along with weekly pickup boxes at select locations.

These sites will serve breakfast from 7:15 to 8:45 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. throughout the summer.

Daily meal service will be offered at North Brunswick High School, South Brunswick High School, West Brunswick High School, Belville Elementary School, Jessie Mae Monroe Elementary, Town Creek Middle School, and Lincoln Elementary School.

Three additional schools will participate for June only with breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Union Elementary, Town Creek Elementary, and Virginia Williamson Elementary will serve meals from June 5 through June 30.

Families who prefer take‑home options can pick up free 3‑day and 7‑day meal boxes on Mondays between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. from these schools:

South Brunswick High School, Town Creek Middle School, and West Brunswick High School. These boxes are designed to support children who cannot attend daily meal sites or who need additional food support during the week.

All meals are available at no cost, and no registration or identification is required. Children must be 18 or younger to participate.
