Residents invited to gather at noon on Thursday, May 7, for the 75th annual observance.
Columbus County residents will join communities across the nation on Thursday, May 7, for the 75th annual National Day of Prayer.
Local observances will take place simultaneously at 12 noon at three sites across the county: the Historic Courthouse steps in Whiteville, the Sheriff’s Office Annex in Riegelwood, and the Train Depot Platform in Tabor City.
Organizers invite citizens to come together in a shared time of prayer for the Nation, State, County, First Responders, Military, Schools, including teachers, students, and administrators and Churches and Pastors.
The gathering encourages residents to take part in something larger than themselves as the community lifts unified prayers for healing and blessing.
