WHITEVILLE — Deputies are investigating a worksite theft after an assortment of wire and breakers valued at $1,500 was reported stolen Friday morning from a construction project on Midway Drive, according to a Columbus County Sheriff’s Office incident report.
The victim, North Georgia Civil, told Sgt. John Reaves that the materials were taken sometime before 9:22 a.m. No suspect information was listed in the initial report, and investigators have not announced any leads.
The case remains open.
