Columbus County authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 65-year-old William Eric Boswell, known locally as Eric Boswell, who was reported missing from the New Hope area.
According to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office, Boswell was last seen at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23. He was spotted on foot near the intersection of Highway 701 and Rough and Ready Road. Officials noted that he is not believed to have access to a vehicle.
While Boswell is not considered dangerous, family and authorities are concerned for his well-being as he may be disoriented or confused. He is described as a white male and a resident of the local community.
