Little River, SC — A two‑vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle temporarily shut down all lanes of North Highway 57 near Frank Gore Road early Friday morning, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.
HCFR was dispatched at 6:41 a.m. One of the vehicles overturned, and crews used extrication equipment to remove an entrapped individual. One person was treated and transported to the hospital with injuries. Another person signed a medical transport waiver.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating. Horry County Police Department and Calabash Fire Department assisted at the scene.
All lanes have since reopened.
