Sheriff’s Office urges residents to lock your vehicles, remove valuables, and report suspicious activity
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of overnight vehicle break‑ins reported in several southern Brunswick County neighborhoods, including the Northwest Drive area, Spring Mill Plantation, Meadowlands, and Coastal Club.
Deputies are looking for a white male with a thin to medium build, frequently seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
Investigators believe he is targeting unlocked vehicles, making these incidents crimes of opportunity.
Residents are encouraged to take preventive steps by locking vehicle doors, removing valuables and firearms, and reporting suspicious activity immediately.
