Gloria Ann Konrad, 79, of Calabash, NC and formerly of Middletown, NY passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026.
Gloria was born on August 2, 1946, in Middletown, NY and was the daughter of the late John Kaczmar and Mary Rudenko Kaczmar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Konrad, son Theodore Herman Sigler, and grandson, Theodore Joseph Sigler.
She loved the game of golf, enjoyed the beach and knitting Afghans for her family. Gloria worked as a golf course attendant, where she enjoyed meeting people.
Gloria is survived by her daughters, Maureen Skinner (Mark) of Clifton Park, NY, Lynn Balbach (Bruce) of Walden, NY, and Marybeth Barrett (Jim) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; a sister, Sonja Zeoli, of Sunset Beach, NC; grandchildren Marissa Rothermel (Kyle), Kerri Guiffrredo (Kyle), Katelyn Skinner, Bruce Balbach, Kendra Skinner, Taylor Patterson (Holden), Brittany Balbach, Keegan Skinner, James Barrett. Great grandchildren Odesza, Kane, Nora, Lainey, Hannah, Curtis, Gunner, Holden, Charlie.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 11:00am in the Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made to American Kidney Fountain in honor of Gloria
