TABOR CITY — A small amount of fentanyl was seized during a Monday morning stop on North Main Street, according to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to 107 N. Main Street at 10:13 a.m. and located 0.20 grams of a purple crushed fentanyl substance inside a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. The vehicle is valued at $4,000.
A 36‑year‑old white male is listed as the suspect. The offense is classified as possession of fentanyl, a felony under North Carolina law.
