Residents encouraged to apply by April 8 for consideration at the May 18 meeting
BOLIVIA, NC — Brunswick County is inviting residents to apply for potential appointment to its boards and committees, with applications due by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The Board of Commissioners will review eligible applicants during its regular meeting on Monday, May 18, 2026.
Applications submitted between January first and April 8, 2026, will be considered. Anyone who applied before January 1st, must submit a new application to remain eligible. All applicants must be residents of Brunswick County, and some boards include additional eligibility or district‑specific requirements. Residents can confirm their commissioner district using the county’s online electoral districts map or by checking their voter registration card.
