Families bundle up for one of OIB’s favorite spring traditions

OIB, NC — Despite cold winds sweeping across Ocean Isle Beach, the town’s annual Bunny Hop brought out families, volunteers, and local partners for a morning of photos, games, and spring festivities.

Children lined up for Easter Bunny photos, moved through craft stations, and collected prizes with help from town staff and community volunteers.

The event was supported by Pelican’s Perch, Kinstle & Company, the Museum of Coastal Carolina, Hannah Elizabeth Fine Art, American Aquatic OIB, Kool Karts, Vicki Paints Face Painting, OIB resident Mary Stuart Alfano, the OIB Fire Department, the OIB Police Department, and the OIB Town Hall Administration.

The organizers were pleased with the turnout despite the weather, noting that the Bunny Hop remains one of Ocean Isle Beach’s most beloved family events. Planning for next year is already underway.
