Longwood, NC — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations and Narcotics divisions executed a search warrant at a residence on Ward Road as part of an ongoing investigation. During the search, investigators seized two firearms, approximately 42 grams of crack cocaine, and U.S. currency.
Michael Lane Daniels, 61, of Ward Road in Longwood, was arrested on January 6, 2026. He faces multiple felony charges, including maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances, felony trafficking in cocaine, possession of a controlled substance on prison or jail premises, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
