Closure follows the passing of the EVP’s mother; events will continue as planned
TABOR CITY, NC — The Greater Tabor City Chamber of Commerce and the NC Yam Festival Offices will remain closed for the rest of this week and into next week following the passing of the mother of the Chamber’s Executive Vice President and Yam Festival Manager.
During this temporary closure, community members who need immediate assistance may contact Marylou Molina, GTC Chamber President and NC Yam Festival Vice President, at 914.299.1298
Chamber leadership emphasized that all upcoming Chamber and Yam Festival events will proceed as scheduled and expressed appreciation for the community’s patience and understanding during this period of bereavement.
The Chamber also asks the public to keep Cynthia Stevens Nelson and the Verlyn Prince Stevens Family in thought and prayer.
