Robert “Bob” Voit – Tabor City NC

Robert “Bob” Voit, of Glassboro, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, at the age of 65, with his beloved wife, Maryanne, by his side.

Born on September 6, 1960, Bob lived a life marked by hard work, quiet strength, love, and laughter. A proud graduate of Clayton High School, Class of 1978, he went on to become a skilled and talented stonemason, taking great pride in his work. His hands built lasting things, and his dedication and craftsmanship reflected the kind of man he was — steady, thoughtful, and deeply committed.

Above all else, Bob will be remembered for the love he shared with those closest to him. He treasured the time he spent with his wife, Maryanne, and found happiness in life’s simple and meaningful moments. He had a special love for animals, a warm heart, and a positive spirit that carried him through life. Bob also had a wonderfully witty sense of humor that brought comfort, laughter, and light to so many. Being around him felt easy, genuine, and full of heart.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Patricia and John Voit.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maryanne Voit; his brother, Jack Voit; his sister, Sherri Voit; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry his memory with love.

Though his passing leaves a tremendous sadness, Bob’s life was a gift to those who loved him. He will be remembered for his strength, his kindness, his character, and the love he gave so freely. The memories he created with family and friends will be treasured always, and his presence will remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held with close family and friends.
