Mrs. Nina Meares Gordon, age 86, of Fair Bluff NC, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Liberty Commons in Whiteville, NC.
Born October 14, 1939 in Marion, SC, she was the daughter of the late Devine Meares and the late Pollie Andrews Meares.
She is survived by sons Dennis Smith of the home and Curtis Smith of Cerro Gordo, NC. Also surviving are daughters, Anna Nance of Shelby, NC and Crystal Gordon Green of Cerro Gordo, NC.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her husband Edgar Lee Gordon, and two brothers.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM, in the Hammonds Family Cemetery in Cerro Gordo, NC.
