Residents and property owners can dispose of most materials at no cost
BOLIVIA, NC — Brunswick County’s next Free Cleanup Week at the Brunswick County Landfill is scheduled for April 20–25, 2026, offering residents and property owners a no‑cost way to dispose of a wide range of materials.
During the weeklong event, individuals may drop off metal, tires, electronics, latex paint, clothing, shoes, used oil, oil filters, antifreeze, gasoline, fluorescent bulbs, used cooking oil, smoke detectors, household batteries, and yard debris at their designated areas within the landfill.
Regular household trash and hazardous waste are not accepted as part of the free program
Participants must provide proof of Brunswick County residency or property ownership upon arrival. Businesses and commercial vehicles will continue to be charged standard tipping fees.
