Bolton Prepares for 27th Annual Pine Tree Festival Plate Sale on April 18

Columbus County, NC — The Town of Bolton is gearing up for one of its longest-running community traditions as the 27th Annual Pine Tree Festival Fundraiser Plate Sale returns on Saturday, April 18, at the Bolton Senior Youth Center, located at 15354 Sam Potts Highway.

The fundraiser runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., offering a mix of local favorites and curbside convenience for residents and visitors.
The plate sale features crab salad, fried chicken wings, whiting fish, and catfish filets, with prices ranging from $10.oo to $12.00. Sodas will be available for $1.00.

Each hot plate includes a choice of two sides, with options such as French fries, rice and gravy, green beans, and baked beans. Organizers are encouraging early participation, noting that preorders are due by Monday, April 13. Orders may be placed by calling Barbara Graham at 910.409.1191 or Bolton Town Hall at 910.655.8945.

Curbside pickup will be offered throughout the event and will continue until plates are sold out.

The annual plate sale serves as a key fundraiser for the Pine Tree Festival, a spring tradition that brings the community together through food, fellowship, and local pride. Town officials say the event’s longevity reflects the strong support of residents who return year after year to help sustain the festival.
