UPDATE: LOCATED AND SAFE
The Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who went missing Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities are searching for 30‑year‑old Ann Elizabeth Newton, who was last seen around 3:15 p.m. on February 16 in the 1100 block of Beaufort Road in Boiling Spring Lakes. Police say she was wearing a tie‑dye hoodie, black pants, and black/tan tennis shoes at the time she disappeared.
Newton is described as a white female, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Investigators believe she may be driving a 2013 silver Ford Focus with North Carolina license plate VHT‑9105.
The police department is urging anyone who has seen Newton or has information about her whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
