In their new roles, Briggs and Rush will oversee hospital operations at both campuses, working closely with clinical and administrative leaders. Their focus will include operational excellence, patient experience, team engagement, and strengthening partnerships throughout the coastal community.

“The selection of Kevin Briggs and Grant Rush to lead Brunswick and Scotts Hill Medical Centers reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering remarkable care across the Coastal Region,” said Laurie Whalin, president of acute care operations for the Novant Health Coastal Region. “Both Kevin and Grant bring a strong track record of developing people, advancing high‑quality care, and building meaningful community partnerships.”
