Saturday, February 8, at 1:01 p.m., Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched to the area of Dock Road and Boggy Road in Conway, SC for a reported vehicle fire. The fire appears to have spread to a nearby field. Crews worked to contain this brush fire, estimated at approximately four acres in size. This fire is currently contained.
The South Carolina Forestry Commission and Horry County Police Department had assisted. People in the area may see lingering smoke and firefighter presence for an extended amount of time.
