Weapons & School Property Incidents

• Southeastern Community College Weapon & Drug Incident – Location: 4564 Chadbourn Highway, Whiteville, NC. Time: 1:48 p.m. Reporting Officer: Deputy Joshua Beaman. Charges/Offenses: Possession/Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Controlled Substance Within 1,000 Feet of School, Weapons on Educational Property, Carrying Concealed Gun. Suspect: 18-year-old Black male (6’03”, 156 lbs). Victim: State of North Carolina. Items Involved: Palmetto State Armory 9mm Handgun ($500 value), Ford Edge.

Charges/Offenses: Assault by Pointing a Gun, Criminal Summons/Citation. Suspect: 42-year-old White female (5’05”, 155 lbs). Victim: State of North Carolina.

• Pine Log Road Domestic Disturbance – Location: 2229 Pine Log Road, Whiteville, NC. Time: 11:35 p.m. Reporting Officer: Deputy Da’Norie Mack. Charges/Offenses: Assault on a Female, Misdemeanor Domestic Violence, Simple Assault. Suspects/Involved Parties: 50-year-old Black male (5’05”, 150 lbs) and 46-year-old Black female (5’03”, 150 lbs). Victims Listed: Shenika Lakeshia Matthews (Age 46) and John Anthony Thompson (Age 50).

• Williams Country Kitchen Larceny Call – Location: 10332 James B White Highway South, Whiteville, NC. Time: 11:31 a.m. Reporting Officer: Deputy Cail L. Brown. Offenses: Larceny. Suspects: White female (5’03”, 140 lbs), 66-year-old White male (5’07”, 198 lbs), and 43-year-old White male (6’00”, 150 lbs). Victim: Williams Country Kitchen.
