North Myrtle Beach concert to feature traffic adjustments, chair rules, and an evening of Carolina beach music
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC — The North Myrtle Beach Recreation Department will host another Music on Main concert on Thursday, August 13, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Horseshoe on Main Street, featuring Jim Quick & Coastline.
The longtime Carolina beach‑music group is known for energetic performances, regional touring, and a blend of soul, R&B, and coastal favorites that consistently draw strong summer crowds.
City officials are reminding attendees of chair placement rules and scheduled traffic adjustments ahead of the event. Chairs may not be placed in the Horseshoe until 3:00 p.m.
Traffic and parking changes will begin throughout the afternoon: Horseshoe parking lot closes at 2:00 p.m. for concert setup. Main Street, from Ocean Boulevard to McMillan Real Estate, closes at 3:30 p.m. Limited golf cart parking opens on or before 5:00 p.m. Ocean Boulevard, from 1st Avenue North to 1st Avenue South, closes at 4:00 p.m.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of live music in North Myrtle Beach.
