Phase II Begins: Health Department Moving to Madison Street

Temporary service pause planned as key clinics relocate

 

Whiteville, NC — The Columbus County Health Department is entering Phase II of its relocation, shifting the Adult Health Clinic, Women’s Health Clinic, and Laboratory to 604 N. Madison Street, Whiteville.

There is a scheduled temporary service pause to complete the move. Three services will be closed from Thursday, January 29 through Monday, February 2.
Reopening on Tuesday, February 3 at the new North Madison Street location.

Phones and other services remain open during the pause:
• Registration staff at the Jefferson Street clinic will continue answering calls.
• Administrative staff will help direct residents to available services.
• Many other Health Department programs will operate without interruption.

Residents may continue calling 910‑640‑6615 for appointments, information, or assistance.

The Columbus County Health Department will be preparing for a smooth transition and look forward to caring for Columbus County residents at the new uptown N. Madison Street facility.
