Felony Drug Charges Filed in Bolivia ALE Operation

BOLIVIA, NC — Agents with Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) made an arrest on drug possession charges in Bolivia over the weekend.

Dezmond Rickord, 24, of Bolivia, was taken into custody on July 17, 2026, at 5:25 p.m.

ALE agents charged Rickord with Felony Possession of Cocaine.

He was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Center and released later that same day.

All individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
