HCFR dispatched at 3:45 a.m.; SCHP investigating

Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched around 3:45 a.m. on July 13 to the area of Highway 707 and Circle Lane for a crash involving a pedestrian. A lexus sedan was traveling north bound on Highway 707 near Scrubby’s Car Wash, hit pedestrain walking along side the roadway.
Responders provided emergency care at the scene, according to SCHP the pedestrain died at the scene.
The victim’s name has not been released, South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) and Horry County PD are investigating the incident.
