Recall for GreenWise Organic Frozen Blueberries

Product sold in North Carolina; 12 illnesses reported nationwide

RECALL: Publix has issued a multistate recall for GreenWise Organic IQF Frozen Blueberries after 12 consumers reported E. coli‑linked stomach illness between May 11 and June 5, 2026.

The recall includes North Carolina, affecting shoppers in all Publix locations statewide.

The recalled product is the 10‑ounce bag of GreenWise Organic frozen blueberries with Lot Code 60401 and a Best By date of February 9, 2028.

Publix says customers should not eat the product and may return it for a full refund or discard it at home.

The strain involved, E. coli O145:H28, can cause severe gastrointestinal illness, including bloody diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal cramps. No deaths have been reported.
