Only voters who participated in the Republican primary or did not vote on June 9 are eligible for the runoff.
Horry County, SC — Horry County voters will return to the polls on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, for the Statewide Primary Runoffs. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Under South Carolina law, only voters who cast a Republican ballot in the June 9 primary, or who did not vote in the primary at all, are eligible to participate in the runoff. Voters who selected a Democratic ballot on June 9 are not eligible to vote in the June 23 runoff.
Three races require a second round of voting: the Republican nomination for Governor, the Republican runoff for Attorney General, and the Horry County Board of Education District 10 seat. Only residents of District 10 may vote in the school board runoff.
Early voting for the runoffs will be held June 17–18 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Horry County early voting sites include Aynor Town Hall, Carolina Forest Recreation Center, HGTC Business Center, Loris Public Safety Building, North Strand Recreation Center, South Strand Recreation Center, and the Voters Registration and Elections office in Conway.
