Penda Kail Soles, age 77, of Whiteville, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born May 9, 1949, in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Eva Nobles.
She is survived by her husband, Raeford Soles of the home, one daughter Angela Thompson (Adam) of Clarendon, NC, one son Randy Nealey (Frankie) of Sanford, NC, and two grandsons, Dalton Thompson and Nolan Thompson.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM in Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church with burial to follow in McPherson Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in Beaverdam Original free Will Baptist Church.
