Driver extricated and transported by Brunswick County EMS; Highway Patrol investigating.
CALABASH, NC – One lane of Calabash Road was blocked around 12:30 p.m. Thursday following a rollover vehicle crash between Seneca Drive and Koolabrew Drive.
Calabash Fire Department personnel extricated the driver from the overturned vehicle, and Brunswick County EMS transported the patient for medical evaluation. Emergency units remained on scene awaiting the arrival of the North Carolina Highway Patrol, which is conducting the investigation.
Traffic crews actively managed flow through the area while responders worked the scene. Motorists were urged to use caution, expect delays, and consider alternate routes until the roadway was fully cleared.
