Whiteville Man Held on $20,000 Bond After Police Say He Possessed Stolen Firearm

WHITEVILLE — A late‑night arrest Tuesday resulted in a Whiteville man being jailed on a felony firearm charge.

Glenn Eric Nealy Jr., 27, of King Aurther Drive, was taken into custody by the Whiteville Police Department at 11:03 p.m. on May 26. According to the detention center report, Nealy is charged with Possessing a Stolen Firearm, a felony offense.

He is being held on a $20,000 secured bond and remains in custody as of the report’s printing. No additional property or incident details were included in the jail documentation, and the warrant number was not listed.

All individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
