No Left Turn onto The Causeway (OIBPD)

Restrictions from E. Second St. and W. Third St. began May 22 and continue through Labor Day.

OCEAN ISLE BEACH, NC — The Ocean Isle Beach Police Department has temporarily suspended left turns onto the Causeway from East Second Street and West Third Street as part of the town’s summer traffic‑management plan.

The change, which took effect May 22, is intended to keep vehicles moving more efficiently during the peak season. The restriction will remain in place through Labor Day weekend.

Town officials are asking drivers to plan ahead, follow posted traffic directions, and use caution as visitor volume increases.
