The Brunswick County Board of Commissioners will convene for their next public meeting on Tuesday, January 20 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Chambers at the Sandifer Administration Building, located at 30 Government Center Drive, Bolivia, NC 28422.
Key items on the agenda include:
Public Hearings
– Stormwater Ordinance Update: The Engineering Department will present proposed revisions to the Stormwater Quality Management and Discharge Control Ordinance, along with updates to the Stormwater Management Manual.
– Rezoning Appeal – Case Z-928: The Planning Department will request the Board consider rezoning Tax Parcel 0720000116 from Rural Low Density Residential (RR) to High Density Residential (R-6000).
Administrative Reports
– Engineering Services Restructuring: A proposal to reorganize the Engineering Services department by transferring infrastructure development responsibilities to the Public Utilities Department.
– Fire Services Agreement: Staff will seek feedback on a revised fire services contract.
– FY27 Meeting Schedule: The Clerk to the Board will present a resolution for approval of the Board’s regular meeting schedule for Fiscal Year 2027.
