Claudette Saxon Ray, age 89, of Trinity, AL (formerly of Nakina, NC) passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026, at her residence. Claudette was born in Commerce, GA on May 23, 1936, to the late Ferman and Lucille Jordan Saxon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; William Rone Ray and a grandson; William Trevor Lytton.
Left to cherish her memory are son; Larry Ray (Kim) of Old Dock, son; Eddy Ray (Margaret) of Whiteville, daughter; Jill Apt (Stephen) of Trinity, AL, son; Kevin Ray of Nakina, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be held Friday, May 22, 2026, at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery.
