SHALLOTTE – The Shallotte Shallywags are putting out a community call: the team needs a few more host families to house players for the upcoming June–July 2026 summer baseball season.
WHAT THE TEAM IS ASKING
- Provide housing only — no requirement to supply food or transportation
- Players are responsible for their own meals, though they’re always grateful for a home‑cooked dish
- Athletes are expected to follow household rules and be respectful guests
WHAT HOST FAMILIES RECEIVE
- Season tickets for the 2026 Shallywags season
- Recognition during Host Family Appreciation Night
- Occasional extra help around the house
- A summer filled with baseball, community, and connection
