Vickie Denise Nance Mills, 69, of Cerro Gordo, passed away on Thursday evening, May 7, 2026 in Wilmington, NC.
Vickie was born on October 27, 1956, daughter of the late William Martin Nance and Allie Evelyn Freeman Nance.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Worthington Funeral Home with Dr. George Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00-2:45 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday.
The surviving family includes two children, Lacy Simmons, Zandy Ray Mills; siblings, Billy Gale Nance, Diane Butler, Mary Ann McDowell; grandchildren, Tyler, Alexander, Landon, Zandy, and Gemma.
