Deputies say 36‑year‑old victim deceived in transaction on Bright Blossom Way
BOLIVIA, NC — 36‑year‑old man reported being the victim of a false‑pretense scheme April 20 at a home on Bright Blossom Way, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, Christopher Edward Grace Jr., told Deputy John Loyd he was deceived in a transaction classified as Obtaining Property by False Pretense, a felony under North Carolina law.
No arrests were listed, and the investigation is ongoing.
