Deputies looking into report involving 81‑year‑old woman on Sherrow Estate Street
SUPPLY, NC — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of elder exploitation involving an 81‑year‑old woman on Sherrow Estate Street.
The victim, identified as Sheryl Ann Kovach, reported the incident on April 21. Deputies classified the case as Exploitation of a Disabled or Elder Adult, a felony offense under North Carolina law.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active.
